It's not acceptable to wait for a hour when the restaurant was empty. The pizza it's self was good but the service was not off a good standard.
My daughter and I just love Pizza Express. Good food at a fair price. Always clean, Service is spot on and you know you are getting what is written on the menu.
Disappointing experience.I went here to have lunch and had previously booked a table. When we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes before being seated and the restaurant was not full.The staff were slow and the tables were dirty, my menu was covered in a tomato sauce.After an hour from arriving we received our food. When we asked for the bill we were giving someone else's which added and more time before we could leave.However, although the service was poor the food was really good.I don't think I will be going back to the pizza express in Gloucester.
The thing I like about pizza express Is their consistency and good value. Alcohol is a tad on the expensive side... But overall, Good staff and good food :-)
