Visited twice during last two days hygiene standards for the cafe are appalling dirty aprons, staff eating and drinking in the kitchen friends and delivery drivers stood in kitchen in visibly dirty outdoor clothing , no hair nets or hats 1 lady not in uniform with dirty apron wiping kitchen utensils on her apron no disposable gloves for food prep handbags and coats left in kitchen and the floor hasn't seen a wash for days, arrived early this morning and floor was terrible in kitchen area the once white tiles you can see clearly from the cafe need a serious deep clean. I rang yesterday and reported to store manager and as needed a coffee (take out) had another look today and nothing has changed have now reported to city council maybe that will change things.
Don't like the reduction of lines. Car parking time has been reduced. Was a good place to shop but now go elsewhere more frequently.
Popped in for breakfast. Not impressed. Service slow, coffee could be better, no croissants.

Update . Avis have apologised . Refunded admin fee and given me compensation. Tesco not to blame as Avis should have registered the car with them. I would strongly advise you avoid hiring a car from Avis Budget Gloucester! While the actual car hire went smoothly the after effects of their abysmal customer service caused real headaches.Tesco are investigating further.I was given a parking ticket after I used the customer car park to pick up and return Avis Car Hire which is within the Tesco Car Park at Gloucester. When I returned the car on time and parked it in Avis's designated parking places within the Tesco Car Park I was given a ticket by Tesco via Highview Parking Ltd because the car was photographed leaving the car park 4.5 hours later - presumably when the next person hired it. Eventually Tesco customer services waived the ticket but I have still had a 2 week battle with Avis and a 30 admin charge which they won't refund until I can prove that Tesco have waived it. This is so wrong it is unbelievable. Tesco customer services say that there should be an agreement in place between Avis and Tesco Gloucester so that hire cars are exempted - plainly not. What has annoyed me most is that despite Avis assuring me that they will deal with it on my behalf and I wont be charged the automatic process has continued and I have had to deal with it myself. I would be interested to hear if this has happened to any one else.Update . Avis have apologised . Refunded admin fee and given me compensation.
