This is now 'Kwan Yen' Chinese Take away, a sister to the original some of you may know on Montague Road (formerly Nelson Road Para Vista). Kwan Yen has been my favorite for around 30 years, so I was excited to find that they now operate from a second location closer to me. I love their special fried rice, so delicious with generous portions of Chinese BBQ pork, shrimp and peas, though even anti-pea folk here love it. Other favorites are the beef and black bean and honey chicken.Seriously, stop scrolling through the lists of take-away 'near you', this is the one.
